Oh tender hearted beauty! Wonderfully preserved from the late 1880's, this is a special ring and a happy find. An effusion of elaborate but restrained gold work forming scrolls and romantic shapes designed to display the most vibrant of deep green Emeralds between two glimmery old hand cut cushiony shaped Diamonds. Rarely are gemstones of this quality found in such old rings and so this is a ring to treasure.
The metal is all 18ct yellow gold and carries the maker's initials 'JS' within the band, which could easily be altered to fit the next pretty hand she adorns. It currently measures as an 'M' or '6 and a quarter'.
